To receive Hl7 messages with 7Edit:
In order to receive messages we need to create a new receiver profile. Click the "Profiles" button.
Click "Add" button to add a new profile.
Change the default profile name to "Custom Profile".
Select 'TCP/IP Connection' from the list and click "Settings" to configure the connection.
In this tutorial we will use the port #21110 to listen for inbound messages. Click "OK" to close the "TCP/IP Settings" dialog.
Make sure the "Send Acknowledge" option is selected.
Click "OK" to finish adding the profile.
Select the newly added profile and click the "Start" button to start the receiver.
The receiver start to listening for incoming connections. If any connection established, the receiver starts to log the process. You may try to send a message as explaned in this tutorial.
Click the "Stop" button to stop the receiver.
You may view the list of messages sent and received by clicking on the "View Messages" button.
You may now save messages to a file or open them for editing.
