To start sending a message from 7Edit:

In order to send a message to a specific destination we need to create a new sender profile. Click the "Profiles" button.

Click the "Add" button to add a new profile.

Change the default profile name to "Custom Profile".

Select 'TCP/IP Connection' from the list and click the "Settings" button to configure the connection.

We use integrated 7Edit data receiver to emulate the receiving system. See this tutorial to configure it. The data receiver is running and listening on the localhost, port #21110. Click "OK" to close the "TCP/IP Settings" dialog.
Make sure the 'Read Acknowledge' checkbox is selected.

Click OK to finish adding the profile.
Select the newly added profile in the combobox as shown below and click the "Send" button to continue.
